Alto FurnitureI have always loved working with wood. I was in the kitchen and bath business for 22 years. In 1995, my son Chad and I decided to start building Shaker style furniture. Our work area was a 24x30 garage. My mother-in-law did all of my staining. I would travel around in my caravan stopping at shops to sell the furniture. We outgrew the garage and moved into a 3000 sq. ft. area. We upgraded my vehicle to a minibus.
We build for around 130 stores from Maryland to Maine. In November of 2002, we opened a retail store at our present location. We are located in the beautiful hills in central Pennsylvania. Our furniture is constructed with pinewood bought in the surrounding areas. We would love to have everyone stop in and visit our store to see our quality built furniture.
